Every Step of the Way has morphed and changed over the years. It originally began as Cade’s show opener as we took synth hits and matched it up with the video of his logo to act as a countdown.

It then became the second song of his show continuing with the synth hit intro right out of first song to keep the flow while also giving Cade a some ambient building tracks to allow him to verbally address the audience. We then went into a down chorus to get the audience involved clapping and singing along.

The Rock was the second song of the set. It comes right out of their short intro of a tease of their hit song God of Miracles (video intro clip in Lyric Video service).

This song has a simple but great drum groove so I pulled that out to feature it at the beginning and keep the flow between songs one and two. It’s lengthy and slowly builds with guitar and bass so that the lead singer has plenty of time to be in control and take his time verbally addressing the audience and building a connection with them. He also give them instructions to a vocal part he will teach them.

We broke down the distant “whoah” gang vocals in the background of the recoding and pulled it out to give the audience a chance to sing along with them.

Source of Life to this day is one of Cade’s favorite songs to perform live! We took a different approach to the intro, bridge and built an instrumental outro for Cade to say his farewell to the audience before exiting the stage.

This clip is taken from a live performance of the bridge. I took it way down and slowly built musical elements in for Cade to talk over. His talk varies from night to night depending on his prompting from the Lord to share, but you can hear the impact and how the audience responds.

The live arrangement of Without Your Love was originally created to be the second song of Abby’s 10 minute set for the 2022 Winter Jam Tour. We featured the drum groove to keep the momentum up coming out of the first song, but also give her plenty of space to verbally address the audience and build a connection with them before continuing on.

This clip of the song is a down chorus coming out of the bridge. In the studio recording, this lead vocal part that Abby held was buried in the mix and hidden underneath the last big chorus coming back in. Jason pulled it out of her stems and created some space before coming back in with the full band.

Sometimes two measures of space can make a huge difference! Night after night, audience would erupt in response to her vocal lick because she verbally and VISUALLY nailed the part!

The song ends and then it reprises with a down Bridge at a slower tempo before the tracks kick back in. Daniel has a testimony time to speak into the audience while the music builds behind him to a climax and then drops off to end the song which leads to the audience erupting in response to it.

Who I Am starts with a musical intro - we created hits from the bridge to wake the audience back up and start the song off big before we drop off to first verse.

We doubled the guitar solo length because it seemed to fly by in the album recording. We then created space after the solo for Daniel to introduce his lead guitarist and give a chance for the audience to respond.

We doubled the build up coming out of the bridge to create more anticipation.

  • Live Song Arrangement and Audio Mix

We Praise You, we took the lead guitar riffs from two different versions which gave us the ability to really feature both of their electric guitarist on the intro.

We built an extended intro for them to use as their worship set opener. This gave the worship leader time to verbally address the audience and invite them into worship.

Between the guitar parts and all the “Ohs” by background vocalists, it created an opportunity for a lot of movement to take place between the musicians and singers trading places to give a visual change for the congregation.

“There were many instances throughout the process of creating my live show where I liked Jason’s live arrangements better than what was on my own album!”

  • Advanced Custom Video Creation / Live Song Arrangement, Virtual MD and Audio Mix

Jason really dove into Little Bit More’s song arrangement overall. The big tron intro hits came from a completely different song of hers that was buried in the mix of a slow ballad. It wouldn’t be appropriate to feature such an epic impact in that song, so he pulled it out, changed the key and created a show intro out of it!

Jason created musical space to feature Abby’s voice in the first verse by dropping off parts and creating a vocal delay.

He then made space for her to verbally address the audience by adding a long interlude after the first chorus.

When we first started working with this group, they didn’t have enough songs to fill the set time they needed for a festival. So Jason broke down this song and created a show intro with a soft chorus to start as the two singers entered the stage. It builds to a big band interlude and then right into song two addressing the audience. Later, we reprised the full song as their set closer to bring their core message and intro of the show full-circle!

  • Intermediate Lyric Video Edit / Live Song Arrangement, Virtual MD and Audio Mix

Purpose Live didn’t create the original Dear Future Wife lyric video, but we edited it for live! We also came up with the idea of featuring the string quartet and executed hiring them for the performance video.

Our team also helped Cade come up with a special merch item for the audience to remember this song - the Hope and Pray necklace. The necklace sold out on Winter Jam very quickly and this song led to a special moment of a fan proposing to his girlfriend out in the audience!

This particular acoustic arrangement, originally used just for live, led to a later release of an acoustic version of song on streaming platforms as well!

If you looks closely, you just may spot our very own Jason Ferris on drums and cello :)

Just Dance chorus gives you a glimpse of what a basic video to meet a client’s budget can look like! This particular song gave the artist a chance to feature his musicianship playing trombone on a rather epic song intro/outro that Jason built!
